Dr. Jasmine
I didn’t take the straight road to where I am today. I first followed my passion for music, only to set it aside, thinking that a safer, more predictable path would bring me the security I was searching for. But security without joy is a hollow win. I found out quickly that leaving behind what lights me up didn’t make life easier—it made it harder.
When health struggles and personal losses hit in the 1990s, I was forced to confront what really mattered to me. That’s when I realized that no safety net was more valuable than reconnecting with what I loved—music, helping people find their voice, and embracing the fullness of life.
By 1999, I was back where I belonged: singing and teaching others to do the same. This led me down the unexpected road of studying IO Psychology and growing into a role as an organizational consultant and coach. My work took me across industries and even to KPMG, where I discovered that blending experience with compassion could ignite real change for people and companies alike.
Along the way, my husband, award-winning musician Flip Kirby, and I founded Musical Instruments 'N Kids' Hands (now the Music Science Group), a project that fused creativity with purpose, giving kids access to STEAM education. Our mission wasn’t just to teach; it was to show that even the wildest dreams can be real, meaningful, and life-giving.
All these experiences have shaped how I serve today—guiding others to live authentically and find their own rhythm. If my story resonates, let’s connect and see how we might work together.
